Roman Vescio brings a wealth of high quality playing and teaching experience to Advantage Tennis. From having played Division 1 tennis at the University of South Carolina, Roman is a great asset to the club, when it comes to competitive training for juniors and adults. Previously, Roman has held several prestigious positions, including working at the Harry Hopman tennis academy at Saddlebrook, Florida and has over 18 years of teaching experience. Stephanie Howard is our 10 and under Director and brings a wealth of experience to Advantage Tennis Club. She was highly ranked as a junior in the middle states and played her college tennis at Shippensburg University participating in two NCAA National tennis tournaments.
She has over 15 years of teaching experience and was the Director of Tennis at Corolla Light Resort and Dare County Parks and Recreation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She most recently taught at the NASSAU Racquet Club. Stephanie holds her Professional certifications with the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) in 10 and under and adult development. Dan was a former top 20 Junior player in Australia and has since played Division 1 tennis at University of Utah. He has held junior development and high performance instructor positions at the Queenspark Tennis Center and the Gold Coast Tennis academy in Australia, The latter being the home of mega stars like Bernard Tomic and Sam Stosur. Most recently Dan has been at the Princeton Tennis Program for 5 years as a Tournament Training Instructor and a part of the PTP Elite Academy. JB is formerly from Cameroon and has built a reputation within the tennis community as one of the top tennis instructors coming out of Africa. Has coached internationally in 7 different countries starting in 1989 and was the former number 1 player from Cameroon. JB was formerly the Head program director at Center Court in Chattem where he worked with recreational and high school tennis players. JB’s strong suit is his attention to detail when it comes to technical development. He is also going to help organize various tennis events and matches at the Advantage Tennis Club.
Well known and respected within the tennis community in Central Jersey, Keith has been working in the area for more than a decade. He was the former Camp Director at Princeton Tennis Program (PTP), 2009, and was also the former Head Pro for the Nike Tennis Camp in Lawrenceville, NJ. Keith has worked with several top ranked sectional and national level juniors. Keith specializes in Camp operations and management and will be a strong part of our summer program. Keith also has a lot of management and tournament/event organizing experience and will be helping the club both on and off the court on several capacities. Both Keith and Roman will be Directors of Adult programming at the club. And we are very excited to have Keith as part of our teaching staff.
Originally from Croatia, Nesad is certified by the USPTR. He has been coaching tennis for the last thirty years, fourteen in the Princeton area as the Adult Leading Pro of the Princeton Tennis Program. Players under his tutelage have gone on to achieve sectional, national, and international success. In 2015, he was part of the coaching staff for Ajla Tomaljanovic (ranked #50 WTA at the time) during the Australian leg of the tour.
